Yin Qiao Formula (or Honeysuckle and Forsythia Combination) is regarded as highly effective in immune system in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Devised almost 150 years ago, this herbal formula contains honeysuckle (flos lonicerae), forsythia, peppermint, arctium fruit, schizonepeta, lophatherum herb, balloonflower root, semen sojae preparatum, and licorice, a combination that has been historically documented and clinically proven as an immune enhancing formula*.

There are many kinds of preparations of “Yin Qiao” on the market such as pill, tablet, or capsule. However, all these preparations are using dried powder from the herbal combination, which tends to lose volatile active compounds during the heat-drying process. These active constituents are critical for effectiveness for example in the case of the essential oils from peppermint and the chlorogenic acid from honeysuckle. Softgel technology has eliminated this drying process by directly packaging the liquid herbal extract into the gel-capsule. This process has drastically increased the bioavailability of Yin Qiao Formula. Active therapeutic components are much higher than traditional pills and capsules.

• Flos Lonicerae (Jin yin hua) 2.40 g

• Fructus Arctii (Niu bang zi) 1.44 g

• Herba Schizonepetae (Jing jie) 0.96 g

• Semen sojae preparatum (Dan dou chi) 1.20 g

• Herba Menthae (Bo he) 1.44 g

• Fructus Forsythiae (Lian qiao) 2.40 g

• Herba Lophatheri (Dan zhu ye) 0.96 g

• Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gan cao) 1.20 g

• Radix Platycodi (Jie geng) 1.44 g

Administration and dosage: 2 capsules each time, 3 times daily.
